We went to lunch at Olympia Grill. It was really cool watching Jennifer and Kimberly talk since they have the same views on many subjects. We then took a nice walk on the jetty. We then went back to my place so they all could pack and get ready to go back home. I took them to the airport, said our goodbyes and then drove Jennifer home. It was really fun having Kimberly here and she said she really enjoyed the trip.
Today, Jennifer, Kimberly, David and I went Salsas for lunch. Then back home. Jennifer and David watched Arrested Development on DVD, Kimberly and I went upstairs to my studio to talk about music. I think it was successful, especially since she knows how I use to compose and how I thought of music years ago. After a few hours of that we all went to Yomatos for dinner. I introduced Kimberly and David to new kinds of sushi which they really liked. We then went downtown to Cafe Madrid for some Tapas and live jazz. I was a fun night on the town.
For lunch Kimberly, David and I went to the Mosquito Cafe. I had the fish of the day which is always good and Kimberly and I each got a piece of the lemonade dream cake. It is sooooooo good. Then went the the college for some music making. When I lived in California, we would find songs to do, Kimberly would sing and I would play the piano. Now whenever I am in town or she comes to visit, we would get together and make music. This time was no exception. We pulled out the songs we usually go through and played though them. We did this for at least a couple of hours. It was then time for dinner. So we picked up Jennifer and went to Goode Company for a real barbeque dinner. Then back to my place to hang out, talk and sleep.
Kimberly is someone who I dated 10 years ago. We had a volatile relationship in which we broke up and got back together many times. After 2 years of this we called it quits. Knowing we still had a major connection, but also knowing that we do not work in a romantic relationship, decided to become close friends. We have ever since. We are closer then most people friendships because we had dated. We have seen the best and the worst in each other and we call each other on it when we are doing something wrong or having an emotional crisis. Lately I have been on a creative crisis when it comes to composing. So sometime during this trip we will have a serious talk about what is happening with the lack of my creativity.
So this evening, I went to pick her and her guy David at the airport with my friend George coming along for the ride. We then picked my girlfriend Jennifer and all ate at Thai restaurant Mai Thai. We all ordered something different so we could all share the variety of food. The food is always good there and it was great being able to have such a variety of it. Then we were all in the mood for a pie. Specifically, a key lime pie. So were all went to the House of Pies and 4 of us each had a key lime pie. Then dropped Jennifer home and then George and then home. What a fun evening.

Today I started teaching the 6 week long summer classes. This summer I am teaching 2 classes. Music Appreciation is from 12p to 1:50p and Fundamentals of Music is from 2p to 3:50p. I am having fun teaching both classes.
