Since Jennifer is on the island today, I decided to use my free tickets and take her to some of the Historical Homes in Galveston. The 1st was Ashton Villa. What a great house. I had seen it before with Mom when I 1st moved here but it is still incredible to see. It was the 1st time Jennifer had seen the house. The advantage about this tour is that we got to walk into the rooms and see the pictures and furniture up close.

Next was Samuel May Williams Home. A smaller house but one of the oldest in Galveston.

The last was the Texas Seaport Museum and the tall ship Elissa. What an amazing ship. We walked on the ship and also got to see the captain and crews' quarters.

We then got a drink at Fisherman's Wharf. What a great day.
