So in the 6 years I have lived here I have gone through 4 hurricanes.
1st was Galveston's near miss but still felt it
Hurricane Rita his in September 2005.
Then 2nd, almost exactly 2 years later, in September 2007 was another near miss
Hurricane Humberto.
Almost exactly year later in September 2008 was the one that ended up hitting us.
Hurricane Ike.
So today Hurricane Alex is so big that the rim of it will reach here and throw down a lot of rain and wind. It is going to be a long night.
